Pharmaceutical Testing
Our Chatillon digital force testers, test stands and gauges are used around the world to test pharmaceuticals, medical devices, cosmetics and their associated packaging. Applications include crush and break-line strength of tablets, burst force and indentation of gel capsules, needle strength and metered dose inhaler testing. Packaging tests include tablet extraction forces from blister packs, compression characteristics of blisters, seal strength measurement and top opening forces of bottle caps.
For more complex testing routines, we also offer Lloyd Instruments texture analysers. Our NEXYGENPlus data analysis software also provides security and audit trail features which helps our customers conform to FDA 21 CFR Part 11 requirements.
